Privacy Policy

Short version: the app has no accounts, asks for no personal information, and shows no ads. It only stores the challenge codes that users choose to share.

1. Who we are

Nusuk Challenge Keys is an independent, community-made app that helps participants of the Nusuk Challenge share and receive extra key codes. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Nusuk app, its owners, or any government body.

2. Information we collect

Codes you share: when you tap "Add", the code you typed (for example NG-xxxxxxxx) is sent to our server so other users can receive it. Codes are not linked to your name, phone, or account.
Technical data for abuse prevention: our server sees your IP address when the app connects. We do not store it in readable form — we store only a one-way hash of it for a short time to limit spam and repeated reports.
Usage counters: we count how many times each code was given out and reported. These counters are not tied to you.

We do not collect your name, email, phone number, location, contacts, photos, or device identifiers.

3. Data stored on your device

The app keeps a list of the codes you received and shared on your phone only, so it does not give you the same code twice and can show how often your own code was shared. Uninstalling the app or clearing its data deletes this list.

4. How we use the data

To give codes to other participants fairly (each code has a daily limit).
To hide codes that users report as not working.
To protect the service from spam and automated abuse.

We never sell or rent data, and we do not use it for advertising.

5. Sharing with third parties

We do not share data with third parties. The service is hosted on our own server. If we add advertising or analytics in a future version, this policy will be updated before that version is released and will name the providers used.

6. Data retention and deletion

Shared codes are kept while they are useful and removed when they are reported as not working or when the challenge ends. Hashed technical data used for rate limiting is deleted automatically within about 24 hours. To ask us to remove a code you shared, contact us with the code.

7. Children

The app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect any personal information from them.

8. Security

All communication between the app and our server uses encrypted HTTPS connections.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows the latest version.
